Pace (not Paige, but will answer to it in a pinch)

Hi! I’m Pace!

I love life. I love lots of things. I love to eat food. (I feel better and healthier when I don’t eat meat or dairy.) I love to help people. (I struggle to balance that with taking care of myself and Kyeli.) Oh yeah, Kyeli! I’m happily married to Kyeli and we have an amazing unschooled 11-year-old son, Dru. I love them a lot. (I must be hungry, because I mentioned food before my wife.) I love to read, write, and blog. I love to communicate and connect. I love to help people improve their communication skills. (Kyeli and I run a small business, the Usual Error Project, to make this dream a reality. It’s super fun, because not only do I love helping people, I also love explaining stuff.) I love to play video games. I love to play DDR. I love learning new things, especially things about myself, about the way people work, and about the universe. But most of all, I love to love. I love to connect and share the beauty and wonder of life. (Sometimes I forget this, so if I do, please remind me. Hugs work wonders.)

Kyeli (not Kylie, but pronounced the same)

I am magick and science and technology and math, spirituality and stardust and love. I am a wife, a mother, a friend. Witch, lesbian, tattooed and pierced, freaky, geeky. Earth and air and fire and water and spirit and paradigm and order and chaos in various swirlyness. Words and wordless, songs and numbers, poems and prose. Lubricating the universal wheel of awesomeness. A gadget whore, a student of life, steampunk cyberpunk fantasy rolled up. Scared and brave, smart, silly, loyal, tough and fierce, soft and gentle. A tangle of joy and fear, sorrow and glee, a paradox of life, a seed growing toward the sun, embodying the change I want to see in the world.

Us

We are living our dreams and our passions by making the Usual Error Project our primary focus. The Usual Error Project aims to help people by teaching helpful, sticky communication skills in a way that’s easy to implement and remember. We’re very excited about it! We’ve been giving workshops for three years, but only a couple of months ago decided to make it our career.

We love comments. We love discussion. Welcome to our blog.
